This video, requested by a fan on Facebook, talks about throwing an air bounce backhand. I talk about how to throw it, when it should be thrown and some tips about the throw.

You can also throw a great airbounce at incoming cuts, especially useful if someone is sprinting full speed. It makes for an easier catch.
Another technique that you can use is to airbounce a low-release backhand (actually I bounce all of them and consequently allmost all bounces I throw are low releases). A low-release picks up less wind (there's less wind at ground level than 1m up).
If you do this, make sure that when you bring the disc back, you immediately bring it down as well. Many people start by bringing the disc back high, then bring it low, then throw it. But that takes time and against a good marker this extra bit of speed in your motion makes all the difference.
