When I first started throwing a disc, I searching online to find out all I could about the grips, throws, etc. At the time Youtube didn’t exist and I was able to find only a few websites which showed the power and split finger grip and talked a bit about the different throws but as time went on there really wasn’t a good encompassing website for ultimate. And the videos that are online now. WOW. No wonder people think ultimate is played by hippies.
SO, I’m creating this site in the hopes that someone like you, looking for some reading on ultimate, finds this site and that you find it useful. If you can take just one thing from this site then it’s served its purpose.

Although I haven’t officially measured, I can throw my backhand roughly 130 yards and my flick 125 yards (with a 175g regulation ultimate disc). One of my goals is to make the Guiness Book of World Records for longest throw which is currently around 250 yards (with a golf disc).
